Radon Mitigation and Testing

Radon is a cancer-causing radioactive gas that’s produced when uranium in soil, rock, and water breaks down and is released into the air, and then get into your home through the foundation.

Because radon is odorless and invisible, you may not know if you have unacceptable levels in your home.

About 40% of homes in Colorado are located where radon may be a problem, which is more than most states.

We follow the Environmental Protection Agency's Recommended Residential Radon Mitigation Standard of Practice for residential radon mitigation. Any mitigation measures we take or system we install in your home will conform to Colorado regulations.

After we evaluate your radon problem, we'll give you a detailed, written proposal describing how your radon levels can be lowered.

Mold Mitigation

CJ Development can fix your mold and moisture problem. We will identify and eliminate the source of the moisture that lets mold grow in your home.

Methamphetamine Testing

CJ Development inspects and tests for methamphetamine.

Meth labs have been found in single family dwellings, mobile homes, motels, and in cars and trucks — in cities and towns, in the suburbs, and in remote rural and mountain areas.

We test for meth, and we usually begin by wiping suspect surfaces and sending the samples to an accredited laboratory. If we find a problem, we refer you to an industrial hygenist for further testing and recommendations.
